Samuel Ashton was the son of William and Sophia (nee Procter) Ashton

Edith Rose Pearson was the daughter of Richard Weston and Amy (nee Panter) Pearson

Stella (Elsie) Ashton.... Born 23rd April 1920 at Hendon and Baptised Whitsunday 1920 at St John's Church, Hendon

Stella married David William Rennison at St Peters's Church, Barton on Humber on 14th October 1941.

Vera Joyce Ashton .... Born 12th March 1922 and Baptised on the 6th April 1922 at St Mary's Church, Barton on Humber, Lincolnshire

Vera married Alan Richard Towle at St Mary's Church, Barton on Humber on 19th May 1945.

Lesley Peter Ashton ..... Born 26th January 1925 and Baptised 12th February 1925 at Barton on Humber, Lincolnshire

Lesley Peter died when only 4 months old on the 27th May 1925 and is buried in Barton Cemetary (Grave Space 16, Compartment 57)

Maurice married Florence Hilary Hewitt at St Mary's Church, Barton on Humber

Samuel and Edith Rose moved to 168 Broadway, Hendon, London after their marriage until after the birth of their 1st 2 children, Frederick and Elsie (Stella) then they moved back to Barton

On Frederick Samuel's Birth Certificate Samuel was emloyed as a Machine Driller whilst in London.

Samuel and Edith Rose and family were living at 12 Pasture Road, Barton in 1922 when Vera was born.

Samuel was emplyed as a Cycle Worker at Hopper's Cycle Works, Barton

They later lived at 69 Fleetgate, Barton on Humber until they moved in with David and Stella (nee Ashton) Rennison at 51 Whitecross Street, Barton.

Samuel Ashton died on 9th November 1960 while living at 51 Whitecross Street with his daughter Stella and family.

Edith Rose Ashton died on 3rd November 1965 while living at 51 Whitecross Street with her daughter Stella and family.

Both are buried in Barton Cemetery in a joint grave.
