Robert Franklins Father unknown, but the father of the 3 daughters was Roy Sleight of Barrow.

As there is no bloodline from Roy Sleight I have not added any information on his family.

Annie Elizabeth Franklin did marry but only when Robert Franklin was 11 years old. She married Roy Sleight from Barrow on Humber. They lived at a farm in Barrow Haven, Lincolnshire until Annie's death just after the birth of Mary. Robert Franklin was "adopted" by his Uncle Eddie and Nellie (nee Holland) Franklin who brought him up. Robert joined the Army during WW1 and was stationed at Ashby cum Fenby at the time of his marriage. This photograph is one of two surviving picture of Annie Elizabeth

Annie Elizabeth Sleight (nee Franklin) died on the 17th March 1936 and was Buried on the 20th March 1936 in an unmarked grave at Barrow on Humber Cemetary.
